Alessandra Peron

Hi! My name's Alessandra, I'm 23 and study English and German at the University of Padova. I live with my family in a small town near Bassano del Grappa (about 40 km from Padova) and commute to Padova every day.

I chose to study languages because I've always been fascinated with words, ever since I was a child. Hopefully, this is going to be my last year at university, so I'm determined to make the most of it. In the future I'd like to work as a translator or something similar.

I'm a quiet, shy sort of person, but I can be very cheerful and talkative with my friends and family. I like reading, especially romances and historical novels. One of my favourite authors is Isabel Allende: I love her vivid storytelling and passionate characters who risk everything for the sake of justice and truth. I'm also a great fan of the Harry Potter series.

Although I don't mind working hard when I'm focused and have a purpose, I can be quite lazy when it comes to physical exercise. Anyway, I like strolling round the town and taking long walks in the mountains.
