Does it do what it’s supposed to do? This would depend on whether or not there is an Introduction. If there isn't one, should there be one? Is there a table of contents?
Introduction: it clearly defines the subject the group is going to talk about. The table of content is clear and brief. The whole page is well organized an fulfills the goal which is described at the beginning in the introductory paragraph.
Is there a comparison or are there conclusions? The comparison has to be added by the American peer.
What do you like about it? (be specific) We like the choice of the topic, because it isn't boring! Moreover, we think the wiki page is very well organized, clear, easy to follow and we also like the fact that the added some videos and materials. Moreover, the fact that they created a blog just to organize the final project is very useful, we should have done it too!
Is there cohesion? Yes, there is. All the paragraphs are well connected to each other.
Is it relatively easy to read? If not, what could the writer do to make it easier for the reader? The paragraph on The Godfather should be divided into smaller paragraphs because it's difficult to read; it should be as Roman Holiday or Mac. However, the whole wiki page is very easy to follow, and not boring at all, given the fact that there are not only written paragraphs, but also videos and photos.
Is there balance and parallelism? There's more information about American films covering Italy than there should be.
Is referencing done correctly? There's no bibliography or links at the bottom of the page.
Are there parts that appear that they should be referenced, but are not? It isn't clear where the data in the table are taken from. Moreover, there is still no bibliography, even though there are the footnotes.
Are there enough links to outside sources? Yes, there are.
Length - are the paragraphs too long? too wordy? We think that the lenght of the paragraph is ok, but maybe the paragraph on The Godfather should be a little shorter.
Structure - is there a clear structure divided into paragraphs? Yes, there is. As we've already said before, the wiki page is very well organized.
Is there any use of multimedia? Yes, there is, and this can be considered one of the strong points of the whole project.
Are there sentence fragments or any run-on sentences? No, there aren't, or at least, we haven't found any.
Are the verb tenses used correctly? Yes, we think so. However, verb forms should be all contracted or all full.
Are there words that need to be checked for spelling? Yes, there are. In the paragraph concerning positive and negative stereotypes in 'Godfather' there should be a space between the words 'other' and 'illegal'; in the last line of this paragraph the correct spelling is 'honour' rather than 'honur'; in the first sentence of the paragraph 'Families ties and business interests' there should be a space between the words 'so' and 'it'; in the title 'the father, the funeral, the melodramma' we think it's better if you write the word melodramma with a single 'm' (only the Italian term has double 'm'); in the title 'The brothers Vitelli' the correct spelling is 'sterotypes' rather than 'steretypes'.
Are the beginning of sentences and proper nouns capitalized? Yes, they are. However, the word 'Mafia' is sometimes capitalized and sometimes not. We think they should write in a smaller font the part of the script they took from The Godfather, becuase it's confusing.
Do sentences have appropriate ending punctuation? Yes, they do.
Is internal punctuation (comma, colon, semicolon) used appropriately? We think it's used appropriately, even though it is always difficult to figure out the correct use of punctuation. However, there are no serious mistakes.
Are pronouns used correctly? Yes, they are.
